Customer Success Specialist Level 1 (TX, Dallas)

MarketTime is seeking a Customer Success Specialist. This role will be responsible for helping to fuel the growth of MarketTime by troubleshooting/escalating software issues, providing software usage trainings, and growing relationships with our general customer base. This role presents the opportunity to join a high-growth software company and gain exposure to the wholesale commerce industry across multiple consumer product segments.

This role will report to MarketTime’s Customer Success Manager. MarketTime is headquartered in Dallas, but the role is almost exclusively remote. The opportunity to travel is recommended, but optional.

Successful candidates will have a demonstrated track record of strong communication, relationship-building, and technical skills. This role will require the ability to quickly understand the MarketTime family of software products and the needs of MarketTime’s wholesale customers. The target candidate will be a high-energy, self-starter with a desire to work with team members and partners in a highly collaborative environment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide Technical support to our customer base by answering inbound phone calls and support tickets.

Conduct meetings with customers to train them on the product

Share customer feedback back to the Product and Support leadership to inform platform enhancements

Represent MarketTime as an ambassador of the brand

2 years of technical experience or customer support required

1 year of experience with MySQL is strongly recommended

2 years of experience with troubleshooting API-based software applications is strongly recommended

Senior Sales Account Executive (TX, Dallas)

The Senior Sales Account Executive is a pivotal role responsible for driving revenue growth within our Software as a Service (SaaS) portfolio. This individual will focus only on acquiring larger new clients, leveraging MarketTime?s cutting-edge technology to solve complex business challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client Acquisition and Management:
    • Identify and engage with potential clients to understand their business needs and how MarketTime solutions can drive their success.
    • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects through various channels, including digital, events, and networking.
    • Conduct detailed product demonstrations and presentations, tailored where needed to the client?s specific needs and industry.
  2. SaaS Sales Strategy and Execution:
    • Leveraging account segmentation, build a demand generation strategy on generating meetings and therefore qualified opportunities.
    • Understand the unique benefits and applications of our offerings and effectively communicate them to clients.
    • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan within your territory to achieve targets.
  3. Market Analysis and Reporting:
    • Keep a pulse on the Gift/Toy/Home/Lighting wholesale industries, competitors, and market trends to inform sales strategies and product development. Specifically identifying new features required to drive larger deals across MarketTime.
    • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and reports, leveraging HubSpot CRM and other provided data analytics tools.
  4. Team Collaboration and Leadership:
    • Foster collaboration across product, marketing, implementation, customer success and account management teams to ensure a seamless customer experience during the sales cycle but also post sale.
    • Share insights and best practices with the team, contributing to the continuous improvement of our sales approach.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the SaaS or technology sector selling transactions between $10,000 and $75,000 in ARR.
  • Proven demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets above $700,000 in ARR per year.
  • Strong understanding of the SaaS business model and cloud-based technologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience working in a high-velocity environment including closing a transaction a week.

Business Development Representative (TX, Dallas)

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at MarketTime, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our client base by proactively reaching out to an extensive list of suppliers in the wholesale industry. This position involves attending trade shows across North America to connect in person with supplier prospects, as well as phone and email communication to defined prospect lists.? The position involves collaborating closely with the Sales team to secure and schedule high-quality sales appointments.

**Responsibilities:**
- Attend 2-3 wholesale commerce trade shows a month, connecting in person with supplier prospects, with the goal of engaging in conversations and booking follow on appointments for the Sales team.

- Conduct outbound calls to a diverse range of wholesale industry suppliers.
- Qualify and identify potential clients interested in our technology solutions.
- Book 5-10 sales appointments per week for the sales team.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to understand client needs and tailor appointments accordingly.

**Requirements:**
- Previous experience in a BDR or similar role, for example, outbound calling for sales and/or scheduling appointments?
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding appointment booking targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Not afraid to start up a conversation with a prospect. Ability to connect with people via in-person communication.

-Excited and able to travel 2-3 weeks a month to trade shows across North America.
- Familiarity with wholesale / B2B commerce and/or technology solutions is a plus.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.

**Compensation:**
- Base salary of $40,000 - $50,000, commensurate with experience.
- Bonus compensation for each qualified and booked sales appointment.
- Comprehensive benefits package.
